How to Import a Course
This guide sheet will detail how to import a course from a prior semester into a future one.
- Go to the course to import into. Click the Import Existing Content button on the right.
- From the Content Type drop down menu, select Copy a Canvas Course.
- Select the course from the drop down menu or type the name in the search box and select it.
- Click the All content button to import the entire course as is.
- Check the box to Adjust events and due dates.
- Confirm the new beginning date is correct. The ending date is only important if moving to a different-size course (e.g. importing a 16-week course into an 8 week course).
- Click Import.
