Creating a nearpod with questions and putting it into canvas

Body

  1. Open Nearpod
  2. Click create and lesson

  1. Click on the upload files button and click on the “Drop any files here” to file browse

  1. Find your slide presentation, click it, and click open
  2. After the upload is complete click on “Add New…” and “Quizzes & Games” and select which type of question you wish to make

  1. After adding all of your questions select “Save and Exit”

  1. Open your canvas course and go to the assignments page

  1. Click “+Assignment”

  1. Name the assignment, add a description if wanted, and assign a point value and a due date
  2. Go to the “Submission Type” area and click on the drop down box

  1. Select “External tool”

  1. Now click on “Find”
  2. Scroll through the options until you find Nearpod and click on Nearpod

  1. Log into your Nearpod account if not already connected
  2. Find the Lesson you have finished and select either Live participation or student paced

  1. After option is selected then click on “Select”

  1. Now save the assignment
