How To Add University Printers

To do this, you must

A) Have a university owned computer/laptop

B) Have a university printer you want to connect to

  1. Search for "Run"  
  2. open the program and type "\\printsrv\" in the box. Press enter
  3. You should now see a list of printers. Find the one you would like to add. You can search in the right corner
  4. Right click on the printer you need and select "connect"
  5. The selected printer should now be added to your computer
  6. To set it as your default printer, search for "printers and scanners"
  7. In the program find your printer again, click it and select "manage"
  8. The selected printer is now the default for your PC
  9. Print a test document, and as always call the Help Desk at X4357 if you have any issues
