Access "Films on Demand" videos from off-campus
Although Southeast students, faculty and staff have access to Films on Demand content through Kent Library, individuals do not have an account with the service.
Rather the service is provided to students, faculty and staff automatically via the campus network with NO login required, while off-campus via login with SE Key and password.
In order to access it from off-campus, I was able to get there by doing the following:
- Visit http://library.semo.edu (Kent Library’s website)
- Enter the title of the film in the search bar – for example Violence & Solutions and click the
- The search results is displayed
- Click on the link “SEMO users click here for streaming video”
- You will be redirected to the SEMO login page (looks just like the login page for the Portal)
- Enter your SE Key and password, and you will then be redirected to the Films on Demand page for the desired video
