Hosting Zoom Recordings in Canvas Studio
This guide sheet will detail how to download cloud-hosted Zoom recordings and load them into Canvas Studio.
The advantage to hosting these videos in Studio is they are easily shared with classes, they can be shared with users outside of Southeast, and Canvas Studio will collect more comprehensive viewing data.
Step 1: Log into Zoom. https://semo.zoom.us
Step 2: Click Recordings.
Step 3: Check the box next to the recording to download.
Step 4: Click Export and save.
Step 5: Log into Canvas and click on Canvas Studio (near the bottom of the left-most menu)
Step 6: Click Add in the upper right.
Step 7: Click and drag the video file into the box or browse to find it.
Step 8: Wait. The video file will upload and will eventually process. Once done, the video can be added to courses or shared as a link.

- Check the box next to the recording to download.
