Connecting Oculus Quest To GameNet Wi-Fi

Connecting your Oculus Quest to the Gamenet WiFi is easy! Follow these steps:

  1. Open Settings: Turn on your Oculus Quest and go to the home screen. Select the Settings gear icon in the top right corner.
  2. Select WiFi: From the settings menu, select WiFi.
  3. Choose Gamenet: Look for "Gamenet" in the list of available networks and select it.
  4. Enter the Password: Input the Gamenet password when prompted.
  5. Access Advanced Settings: After entering the password, select Advanced and make sure the Privacy setting is set to Device MAC Address.
  6. Attempt to Connect: Click Connect. If you see an error message at this point, don’t worry—that’s normal.

Now, let’s finalize your connection:

  1. Go Back to Settings: Navigate back to Settings > WiFi > Previously Connected Networks.
  2. Select GameNet: Find "Gamenet" at the bottom of the list and select it.
  3. Note Your MAC Address: Here, you should see your device’s MAC address near the bottom of the page.

Finally, complete the registration process:

  1. Register Your MAC Address: Visit splat.semo.edu/gameconsoles to register your MAC address.
  2. Restart Your Oculus Quest: After registration, restart your device.

Once you've completed these steps, you should be able to connect your Oculus Quest to Gamenet
