campusSIMS/Mint Mobile Phone Service (International Students)

Southeast Missouri State University has partnered with campusSIMS for many years to help connect International students with affordable mobile service and to assist them with a plan in place prior to their arrival for mobile service to help them get connected as quickly as possible.  Many SEMO International students use this service. We have physical SIM cards from campusSIMS available upon arrival for those students who have phones that are not compatible with eSIM.

Please Note: This is offer is available from campusSIMS. The university is offering this opportunity as a service to International students and assumes no responsibilty for the service.
If there are questions or issues with the service, students must contact campusSIMS directly at https://www.campussims.com/.

Configuring Current iPhone or Android Phone to Mint Mobile settings

When you bring your own iPhone or Android phone to Mint Mobile, it may not automatically detect all the network settings needed to get the most out of your service (specifically for cellular data and picture messaging). Luckily, manually updating these settings is very easy to do and just takes a few minutes,  so you don’t have any issues when using data or receiving group or picture messages. Once you’ve activated your plan and inserted your SIM card or installed your eSIM, do the following:

Android: text SETUP to 6700 to have the correct settings sent to your phone (or refer to this article for step-by-step instructions).

iPhone: See the following article for instructions
