You can request assistance with an existing computer to be installed, moved or upgraded. It is important to have the following information available before contacting the Help Desk or opening a ticket:
- Tag # of the computer (red inventory tag or white label w/QR code)
- Location (building/room) of the computer, if requesting move, the building/room where it is being relocated
- The type of upgrade being requested and the reason why
- Index # to be billed in the event there are charges involved
Once the ticket is received, a technician will coordinate the service, and will provide any costs involved so they can be approved before work is performed.
