mySEMO is Southeast's new internal portal system for students, faculty, and staff. From class information, to human resources items, you'll be able to access information about Southeast that is relevant to you.

In early August, we will be rolling out an initial version of mySEMO.  This initial roll-out is intended to migrate the functionality of the existing portal.  

mySEMO is a significant change from our existing portal.  The website and mobile app provide the same functionality and mySEMO is very customizable and personalized for your use.   You will only see information and services which are relevant to your role at SEMO (i.e., faculty, staff or student).  In addition, you can build your own menus to see only what is important to you.   Watch this short video on setting up your own menu items - Customizing mySEMO menus.   We are developing a few cheat sheets to help you setup your Tools menu. 

mySEMO also provides new communications.  You'll see campus announcements and notifications that are relevant to you.  There is also a new messaging system from which you message your friends and colleagues.   Be sure to build out your profile.  Your Account Settings allow you to decide how you wish to use mySEMO.  Under the Privacy tab in Account Settings, you can set who can view your profile and who can message you.  Under the Notifications tab, you can set how you want to receive different types of notifications.  Click on the User Options icon at the top right corner to get to your profile and account settings.  

The widgets that appear on mySEMO present information from external systems such as the SEMO calendar or Canvas course information.  You'll see only those widgets for your role at SEMO.  Too much clutter?  Simply close a widget and/or drag it out of the way.  In a future release, you will be able to remove widgets you don't use.
