How To Import a Shared Activity in Canvas
This guide sheet demonstrates how to import a shared activity into a Canvas course. An activity must be shared first. If no content has been shared, the Shared Content area will be empty.
Step 1: Log into Canvas and click Account.
Step 2: Click Shared Content.
Step 3: Click the three dots on the right of the item and select Import.
Step 4: Type the course name or choose it from the list.

- Type the course name or choose it from the list.
The activity can be directed to a specific module in the course it’s being imported to. Select the module from the list. This is not a necessary step.
The item will then appear in the course it was directed to. It can also be found in Assignments in the destination course. It can be added to any module on a course page using the plus button to the right of the module title.
