MS Office for Mac - Error message - "Your account doesn't allow editing..."

To correct this error do the following:

First make sure that you are logged into the Office desktop app using your Southeast email address and password.

Then try the following steps:

1. Close all Microsoft Office apps (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc)
2. Visit https://support.microsoft.com/en-gb/office/how-to-remove-office-license-files-on-a-mac-b032c0f6-a431-4dad-83a9-6b727c03b193 and download the Microsoft license removal tool.
3. Install the license removal tool, then run the license removal tool.
4. Re-launch any Microsoft Office app and sign in using your Southeast email address and password.
