Software Licensing
The university provides licenses to most of the typical software applications being used on campus.
Some examples include:
- Operating system software: Microsoft Windows and Apple's MacOS are provided on computing devices.
- Applications: Microsoft Office 365 are installed on all university-owned computers
Other software applications such as Adobe Creative Cloud (Acrobat, Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, etc.), SAS, SPSS, and ArcGIS are more specialized, and therefore are not provided on every computer, but rather licenses are provided to those who request access. Some of software applications may incur cost to the department.
